Searching shops in United States

Guides

Can customers find your business on Google Maps?

A nearby map answers that faster than a long checklist.

Most shop owners check Google on their own phone, standing in the store. That search is already biased: Google knows it is you, and it knows you are already there.

The question that matters is different. If someone a few minutes away types the service you sell, do they see you — or the shop down the road?

Look at nearby spots, not a homework list

NearLumo puts your shop in the middle of a real map and checks eight spots around it. Green means you are near the top. Yellow means you are on the list. Red means you are not showing.

That is the first screen. We do not start with “is every field filled in.” A complete listing that nobody nearby sees still loses the customer.

Then do three things

After the map, we name shops customers may see first and give you a few next steps. You do not pick extra search boxes. You do not connect a Google listing to see the report.

Save the report if you want it later. Claim the shop if it is yours. Neither step writes to Google for you.
